We stayed for one night and the room was good. All rooms are around a small courtyard with seating areas outside each room. Very nice if you want to sit outside on a warm day / evening. Dinner in the bar was excellent – fantastic duck and steak. Pudding & cheese board also great. Followed by a very good break the following day

Exceeding expectations is a rare experience and one comes away from an evening at the Tytherleigh walking on air.

We started our holiday with a visit here. The food and service was outstanding. Especially taking into account allergies. Indie was very informative and we received a complimentary appetiser. The overall experience was so good that we came back again.

We booked this pub while staying locally, last minute and were not disappointed. The welcome was warm and friendly and the meals were superb. The dishes tasted fresh and also looked great. Couldn’t find a fault and would definitely visit again if nearby again.

The food here is absolutely outstanding – full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and you can really taste the quality of the fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Every meal is a joy, never anything less than amazing. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s always such a treat to come here, and I’d recommend it to absolutely anyone!

What a great place to stay, lots on your doorstep to explore, nice comfy cosy room and the food was fantastic. The breakfast was ace and the evening meal could have been Michelin star quality. We will definitely stay again

Room was so lovely, cozy and clean. We had dinner there which was superb, and a breakfast the following morning which was just as delicious. The food and service there is excellent and I would highly recommend you come and experience it.

Excellent Sunday lunch with tender pink beef and an interesting variety of roasted veg and cauliflower cheese . Very good choice of wines available . The staff are highly engaged , friendly and know their stuff

The food was delicious and very well presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they looked after us very well.

Worth staying in the clean and pleasant rooms adjacent to the pub so you can enjoy the drinks menu. Food is excellent and if you stay this continues for breakfast.

We all enjoyed our meal and I can truly say it was the best meal I’ve had since I came here last time!

We have been twice now, once for dinner and once for lunch. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, excellent service and delicious, subtle, interesting food.

Really catered to me being vegetarian and previously been before as a vegan and they catered for me. Had the tasting menu and it was wonderful! The staff as always are amazing
